NANC UK CELEBRATES CENTINARY

NANC UK IN SOLIDARITY WITH THE WORLD #Bringbackourgirls

The National Association of Nigeria Communities(NANC) breathed a huge sigh of relief as momentum takes a life on a global scale on the campaign to bring our girls back.

Wither Nigeria! Suddenly, the tragedy that befell our country through the abduction of over 200 family living in Chibok town, Borno State was being acknowledged by powers greater than Nigeria.

Let's go down memory lane.

In the continent of Africa and beyond, Nigeria was ONCE the destination of tourists who desired natural, relaxing, happiness. Remember the bubbling atmosphere of Lagos? The cocoa dome, total garden and Obisesan hall at Ibadan (in Oyo state), the historic mountain called Olumo rock in the ancient city of Abeokuta, the mystic magic of Oshun Oshogbo, the Ikogosi warm spring beneath which the mystery of cold and hot water of the mother of nature meets.

Remember the nature of the garden city of Port Harcourt, the coal city of Enugu, the beautiful Niger bridge, Argungu river in Kebbi state where some of the biggest beasts of the river exist.

You can not forget the hospitable sense of Obudu ranch and natural gift of Yankari games reserve in Bauchi State.

As parents of daughters in college and University, the thoughts of school girls being carted away by wicked kidnappers is quite daunting when compared to how Nigeria was .

NANC is disturbed by the plight of the young girls kidnapped over three weeks ago by these religious fanatics.

We can not forget the roles being played by most Nigerians through social media which has in no small way sensitized Nigerians and the world on the necessity for immediate and efficient actions to effect the rescue and safe return of the abducted girls back to their parents.

Indeed, the security agents are not motivated enough to fight insurgents, but then, it seems many Nigerians are unaware that Nigerian Army under international law is not permitted to engage Boko Haram as it would engage with an enemy country.

NANC insist there was no justification in terrorizing the sanctity of human life.

Equally, both the Holly Quran and the Holly Bible preached against any form of terrorism.

Therefore, National Association of Nigerian Communities(NANC)UK wishes to urge for collective responsibility with President Jonathan leading all Nigerians and the world to rescue the girls.

We must never forget the role of elders in our culture, as they are known to standing up when the needs are greatest.

We plead with genuine Northern leaders and their southern counter parts to retrieve the soul of Nigerians from soulless scoundrel and lost generations.

Consequently, we must not relent in our determination that the girls are brought back safely whilst we continue to put pressure on those in power to eliminate impunity.

We must continue to sustain the campaign.

Kudos to all Nigerians in the UK especially NANC communities, for your steadfast and prayer on Nigeria, the only nation to call our home.

Regards
